Phoebe Bridgers Brooklyn reviews
John was amazing, but the crowd was ridiculous
During a musical interlude (NOT an intermission), about 70 people got up to use the bathroom, go to the bar, etc. Phoebe Bridgers was an awesome show as usual, but the crowd was so disrespectful and loud throughout. I was appalled at how many people were late and loud. This was an intimate, crowd-engaging evening of Phoebe and her piano, violins, a cello, and a guitar; not the type of show where you sit and talk and laugh with your friends. I'm really kind of surprised Phoebe didn't address the excessive noise at some point during the show...not that she should have to. It was so disruptive to the man playing the guitar and to the rest of us trying to hear the music. I saw this same show down in Bloomington with a crowd of mostly college kids, and they were less respectful and rowdy than a theater full of my peers!
